Back to School Morning Breakfast
August 27, 2009This is a delicious and healthy start to everyone’s day. The best part is it can be made the night before and can be adjusted to your preference. It helps to have a large plastic airtight container to store it in.
8 large handfuls of organic rolled oats
2 large handfuls of ground bran
1 handful chopped apricots
1 handful chopped dried dates (other dried fruits can be substituted like cranberries, cherries etc)
1 handful crumbled walnuts
1 handful of chopped or smashed almonds, hazelnuts etc
Add oats and bran to plastic container with dried fruits. Add the nuts. (At this point you can improvise with your own choices) This mixture will keep in airtight container for a couple of months. (more…)
