The Joy of Vegetable Gardens
May 25, 2010As I finished planting my vegetable garden this weekend, I realized the joy in growing ones own food. Everything tastes better and nothing is more exciting that picking fresh lettuce for that nigh’ts salad!! It is fun and rewarding. You don’t need much room to grow a few family favourites and if I can do it anyone can!! I had my kids eating fresh radishes, arugula and herbs! They love to go out and gather the food and seem to enjoy it so much more knowing they helped grow it. Try it!!!
