BEATRICE BREAST CARE CLINIC – A.K.A. BREAST FEST

Beatrice Breast Care Clinic, or more affectionately known as “Breast Fest” is a preventative breast care program implemented for women who do not wish to perform breast self-examination. Our clinics are held every two months and the cost is a nominal $20.00 cash. You would be examined by Sylvia Enga. Sylvia is now a retired registered nurse. While she was actively working, she was in charge of the Home District Care Nurses of the Northshore. She and her nurses would assist women with their home care after having had breast cancer surgery. Sylvia also ran the BSE program at Lions Gate Hospital. Needless to say this is her forte. Your examination would be extremely thorough and confidential. As examining your own breasts on a regular basis is always optimal, Sylvia would be most happy to teach you to self-examine as well. This program is in no way intended to take the place of regular mammograms and doctor visits. Menopause Package

This package is well suited for those who are entering into perimenopause, are in menopause or have finished with menopause. It consists of the following:-

Symptomology Assessment – This is an in depth questionnaire, that will allow us to pinpoint areas of concern and areas to watch.

Client Health History – This will help to give an overall picture of your health history that may give clues as to what you may be experiencing at this time in your life.

Seven Day Food Diary – This helps to highlight certain foods that may be causing you distress or hidden allergies as well as foods or food groups that may be missing from your diet altogether.

You will receive a printout of our dietary/supplement recommendations based on your symptomology asssesment, client health history and the seven day dietary recall.

Ongoing email support and coaching to a maximum of three months.

We will recommend and liason with Leslie Keenan, RN of New Moon Health and Dr. Anita Tannis (Integrative Medicine), who will advise you of the protocol for identifying hormone imbalances.
