BEATRICE BREAST CARE CLINIC – A.K.A. BREAST FEST

Beatrice Breast Care Clinic, or more affectionately known as “Breast Fest” is a preventative breast care program implemented for women who do not wish to perform breast self-examination. Our clinics are held every two months and the cost is a nominal $20.00 cash. You would be examined by Sylvia Enga. Sylvia is now a retired registered nurse. While she was actively working, she was in charge of the Home District Care Nurses of the Northshore. She and her nurses would assist women with their home care after having had breast cancer surgery. Sylvia also ran the BSE program at Lions Gate Hospital. Needless to say this is her forte. Your examination would be extremely thorough and confidential. As examining your own breasts on a regular basis is always optimal, Sylvia would be most happy to teach you to self-examine as well. This program is in no way intended to take the place of regular mammograms and doctor visits.
